The story of two Floridians and their foster Great Danes
Hello! We are Tara and Christian, a married couple currently living in sunny, stormy, crazy Florida. Although this blog is about the two of us, Tara is the one who writes primarily.
Tara is a professional online marketer with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of California, Santa Cruz (class of 2012). Christian is a graduation evaluator at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University, Worldwide (and aspiring air traffic controller). He received his bachelor’s degree in Air Traffic Management from Embry Riddle, Daytona Beach in 2012.
We met while we were living in California in 2006. We got married in front of 125 of our closest family and friends in 2012. After we got married, we packed a car full of Tara’s things (including her dog, Roxie) and traveled cross-country to start a new life in Florida. Why Florida? Christian has a motorcycle and a snake; needless to say, it was easier for her to move than it was for him to move.
Our family currently consists of us two, our 10-year-old Cairn Terrier, 8-year-old corn snake, and 3-year-old cat.
We are currently fostering Great Danes with Great Dane Love, a Central Florida Rescue and we are loving every minute of it. Our long-term plans are to purchase a Great Dane puppy and an English Mastiff puppy within months of each other once we own our own home.
