When people normally hear “Mastiff”, they immediately think of the fawn-colored, sweet English Mastiff (exactly what Christian wants). But there are so many more Mastiffs than just the English Mastiff! I’ve put together collages and fun facts about each one and have shared them below. I did everyone a favor and included cute puppy photos as well. You’re welcome.
I’m obsessed with our future house already, even though it will probably be a few more years until we buy it. I’m thinking about all of the customizations we’re going to have done. The DIY projects. Ohhhh, the DIY projects. My Pinterest boards are bursting with ideas. I get more and more anxious whenever I find more awesome ideas I have to try. Life is so short! I need a house now so I’ll have time to do all of these projects!!
I’m also obsessed with dogs (surprising, I know).
Here are my favorite customizations. Some of these customizations I want to implement into our home. The others I probably won’t try, but I included them on the list just because they are too cool.
Okay, I’m always finding really cute and funny dog stuff on Pinterest and I wanted to share with you guys 6 really amusing dog tags. My favorite one is “Have your people call my people”.
If any of you have unique dog tags for your babies, I want to see pictures!
P.S. If you like this, I would love it if you pinned it on Pinterest!
When Christian and I first got married, one of our favorite things to do was look up Great Dane and English Mastiff videos and oh my goodness, there are soooo many good ones on YouTube! I don’t remember when I first fell in love with Great Danes, but I do remember seeing the famous “Honey the Great Dane & Lemon the Tortoiseshell Cat – Magic Moments Together” video and stalking Big Honey Dog up until the day she died (R.I.P. Honey).
Here are my favorite goofy gentle giant videos on YouTube.
People who aren’t familiar with giant dogs tend to automatically think that they won’t make good apartment dogs. But that’s not always the case. Yes, they’re big. But that isn’t necessarily a deal-breaker. Just pick your furniture with that in mind. It will be like having another person in the house.
A good “apartment dog” is one that is lazy/has low energy and generally quiet.
There are actually quite a few giant dog breeds that are considered to be great apartment dogs!
